Impact Verified: How an SPF Roof Withstood Extreme Hail

Check out the performance of an SPF roof system independently inspected by RICOWI (Roof Industry Committee on Weather Issues) from a severe hail event at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.

The regulatory landscape for polyurethanes is shifting, and California is leading the charge. Stephen Wieroniey, a leading expert on chemicals management and energy efficiency policy, tracks the history of Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) as a "Priority Product" under California’s Safer Consumer Products program.

SPFA has released a new marketing brochure, ‘Protecting Spray Foam in Your Home with Fire-Protective Intumescent Coatings’.

This brochure aims to educate homeowners and building owners on the benefits and code requirements of thermal barrier and ignition barrier assemblies.
