Honoring the Legacy of Randy Nicklas

The spray foam industry recently lost a true pioneer with the passing of Randy Nicklas. Over a distinguished 30-year career, Randy fundamentally shaped high-performance building practices across North America, conducting more than 1,000 blower door tests and educating thousands of architects, engineers, and contractors.

From playing a key role in the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup to helping design the initial American Lung Association Health House, his technical expertise moved our entire industry forward. We invite our members to look back on his remarkable contributions and read his full obituary to celebrate a life dedicated to better building practices.
