HELP BRING MOUNTAIN BIKING
TO ST. GERMAIN

The Town of St. Germain Non-motorized Trails Committee has obtained a $25,000 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, which the Town Board is matching with $25,000 of room tax revenues, to cover most of the $55,000 cost to construct 4.5 miles of professionally designed mountain bike trails on the Town's Fern Ridge property accessed from Juve Road.

The Committee is now challenged with raising an additional $5,000 to cover the balance of the projected costs. Raffle tickets are being sold, thanks to the generous donations of products and services, the top prize being a Specialized Rock Hopper Sport Mountain Bike, valued at $700, donated by Forever Young Bike & Ski, of Eagle River, WI. The winning raffle tickets will be drawn on September 4th, 2021 at the Fern Ridge trailhead.

Please consider purchasing a raffle ticket. Win or lose, you'll be contributing to yet another high quality public recreational activity in the Town. In addition to the ticket sales locations listed on the linked poster, raffle tickets can also be requested from stgermainsilenttrails@yahoo.com.

THANK YOU GENTLEMEN!

A big thank you to a group of men from the St. Germain Evangelical Free Church for donating their time recently to rake grass clippings around the Veterans Memorial, pressure wash the memorial and benches, pick weeds and rake in front of the Fire Department, all just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Your collective contribution is very much appreciated!
