April is Limb Loss/Limb Difference Awareness Month!

In honor of this, MAA is pleased to recognize these amazing waiting children with an additional grant of $1,000. If you have ever met one of these incredible kiddos, you will know that they NEVER let their limb difference hold them back!! Take Cyrus for example. Cyrus just turned 12, and has been waiting for his forever family since he was a baby. Cyrus has a malformation of his right hand, but when interacting with him, you would never know! Cyrus, and other children with limb difference, are resilient, resourceful, adaptable, and all around remarkable!!

If you are interested in learning more about Cyrus, or the other children we are advocating for with limb difference, please complete our
Calling All Families Wishing to Adopt from the Philippines!

We have an awesome opportunity to advocate and have local families host several beautiful kiddos from the Philippines! Our hope is to run this program in conjunction with our Colombian host program from the end of July through mid-August! MAA has received files for seven incredible 12- 14 year olds, and two sibling groups of the same age. While these children all have individual likes, dislikes, and personalities, they also have a few fundamental things in common – resiliency, bravery, adaptability, and wanting a forever family. But they need our help!
Please spread the word and contact Diana Bramble if you are interested in “meeting” or hosting these beautiful children!
*Due to the rules of the Philippines, MAA is not permitted to post any photos. The photo above is a photo from the internet of Filipino children.
Don't forget! Show Hope's annual Empowered to Connect Conference will be broadcast at churches across the country on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th.

Parents everywhere will have access to these practical tools to bring hope and healing to any child who has experienced trauma or the loss of parental care.
This simulcast is an opportunity to provide the support to these families where most communities lack the experience, the expertise, and the answers to those in desperate need for help and guidance.

You, your small group, or group of friends can attend!
