Please contact Ms. Barnes if your student would like to participate.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1

Kevin Mulhern, author of Cody the Cloud will be visiting Saint Paul School and reading to Preschool, PreK and Kindergarten.

This magical story about believing in yourself, not judging or bullying others, and the power of friendship and love to make the world a better place.

There will be no book reading fee charged but order forms will be sent home with - if a book is desired (not mandatory to order). Mr. Mulhern will sign each book that is purchased and bring them on the day of the readings. For every sale made - he donates a portion back to a school initiative. We will request this donation to go towards the MGH book collection service project.

Thank you to Mrs. Grew for organizing!

WHY IS READING IMPORTANT?

Reading is necessary for learning, so instilling a love of reading at an early age is the key that unlocks the door to lifelong learning.

Reading expands vocabulary, it improves focus, memory skills, and self-esteem.

Reading helps children learn to make sense not only of the world around them but also people, builds social-emotional skills (including empathy and stress management) and of course, develops their imagination.

All of these qualities are important ingredients that will assure academic success in your student(s).

Join us as the AESC leads
