Summer Newsletter

Dear Parents, Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni, and Friends of St. Patrick-St. Vincent Catholic High School,

It is with immense gratitude, humility, and excitement that I write to you as the new leader of SPSV.

As an alumnus of this extraordinary institution, this opportunity is both deeply personal and profoundly meaningful. The values, faith, education, and sense of community that I experienced as a student helped shape who I am today. To now return and serve the school that gave me so much is truly an honor.

SPSV has a rich tradition of academic excellence, faith formation, athletic achievement, and service to others. These traditions have been built by generations of dedicated educators, Christian Brothers, Dominican Sisters, Priest, supportive families, engaged students, and loyal alumni. I am committed to honoring that legacy while working collaboratively to lead our school to new heights.

As we look toward the future, our focus will be on strengthening academic programs, expanding opportunities for student success, fostering innovation, deepening our Catholic identity, and ensuring that every student feels known, valued, challenged, and inspired. Together, we will continue to prepare young men and women to become compassionate leaders, critical thinkers, and faithful servants of their communities.

The strength of SPSV has always been its people. I look forward to listening, learning, and partnering with all members of our community as we build upon our successes and embrace new opportunities. The future is bright, and I am excited for what we will accomplish together.

Thank you for your warm welcome and for your continued commitment to our school. I am honored to serve this remarkable community and eager to begin this next chapter with you. You know that I will make you all proud. We will change the world, and we will make a difference.

May God continue to bless St. Patrick-St. Vincent Catholic High School and all who call it home.

With gratitude and enthusiasm,

Clarence "I-Z-Z-Y Isadore

Bruin Spirit Fundraiser – Partnering Together to Keep Catholic Education Accessible

At St. Patrick-St. Vincent Catholic High School, we remain deeply committed to providing an exceptional, faith-based education that continues to transform the lives of our students. However, as with all private education, the cost of delivering this experience continues to rise.

While tuition covers a significant portion of our operating costs, it does not fully cover the cost of educating each student. Rather than passing this full cost along to our families, we rely on fundraising efforts. To that end, we’re introducing the Bruin Spirit Fundraiser to help bridge this vital gap and keep SPSV’s exceptional Catholic education accessible for all students.

The Bruin Spirit Fundraiser will play a key role in helping us control tuition increases while continuing to invest in the academic, spiritual, and co-curricular opportunities that make SPSV so special. By participating, every family directly supports their student and the entire Bruin community.

How the Fundraiser Works:

  • Each student is responsible for selling 20 tickets.
  • Tickets are $25 each.
  • Total fundraising commitment: $500 per student.

All sales will be completed online through our secure digital platform.

Each family will receive a unique link to track their student’s sales and easily share with friends, family, and supporters via email, text, and social media.

Prizes:

  • Grand Prize (Ticket Holder): $2,500 cash
  • Student Prize (Seller): $2,500 tuition credit for the student who sells the winning ticket

Fundraiser Timeline:

  • Sales Open: August 31, 2026
  • Sales Close: October 2, 2026
  • Fundraiser Drawing: October 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM (Winners do not need to be present)

Important Notes:

  • Families are responsible for selling the full allotment of 20 tickets (or submitting the equivalent of $500 if unable to sell all tickets).
  • 100% of funds raised directly support SPSV programs and student resources, and help stabilize tuition.
  • The online platform makes it easy to promote your student’s sales and reach your whole network of supporters.

Next Steps:

We’ll begin sharing more detailed information with families in early August as we prepare to launch the Bruin Spirit Fundraiser officially.

Thank You for Your Support!

The Bruin Spirit Fundraiser is one of the most important fundraisers of the year. Your participation helps ensure we continue providing the outstanding Catholic education that makes SPSV such a special place for our students and families.

Save the Dates: Fall 2026 Overnight Retreats

Some of the most meaningful moments of a student's SPSV experience happen away from campus.

This fall, we invite families to mark their calendars for two life-changing retreat opportunities that help students deepen their faith, strengthen friendships, and encounter God in a powerful way.

For seniors seeking a deeper experience of faith, reflection, and community.

Fall Alpha Retreat:

November 5–6, 2026 (Thursday–Friday)

More information and registration details will be shared in July. In the meantime, please reserve these dates and encourage your student to take advantage of these unforgettable experiences.

The retreat begins with a date on the calendar, but the impact can last a lifetime.
