A Reflection on
Saint Thomas More
St. Thomas More is the Patron Saint of Lawyers and Politicians (but we won't hold that against him)! This week, parishioner Chris Riley shares what we can learn from St. Thomas, especially as we consider the ways we are called to stand for the rights of others.
Afghan Family
Sponsored by SPX
Settling in South Bend
Dan Florin, parishioner and newly appointed CEO of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne–South Bend, had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with the first SPX adopted refugee family. He brought the family to the mosque, took them grocery shopping at Martin's, and then enjoyed hot tea as he visited with them in their new home in South Bend. On behalf of Catholic Charities, Dan and this beautiful family would like to express their thanks for the many ways the parishioners of Saint Pius X have supported them during this time of transition.

We look forward to hosting a meet and greet with both SPX adopted families in the coming months. For more information about Saint Pius' involvement in the Refugee Resettlement Program, please visit:
