Book of Blessings
One of the ways we can continue to develop our home as a "domestic church" is through the use of the Book of Blessings.

Blessings are opportunities to set aside parts of our home as areas for worship, and there are a number of blessings lay folks like us can perform. Sally Flask, the Assistant Director for Liturgy, highlights some of these blessings and shows us new ways to make our homes (or the people in them) places of prayer. If you don't have your own Book of Blessings at home, you can find more resources for home blessings on the USCCB website here:

THE CHOSEN: JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
Sunday, September 19
6:00 - 8:00 p.m., in the Parish Life Center

Have you heard the hype about The Chosen? This crowd-funded, binge-watchable TV series about the life of Jesus has caught the attention of millions since the first episode aired in 2019. The Chosen goes "behind the scenes" of the Gospels to imagine what the disciples might have said, seen, and experienced in between the events reported in Scripture. Bring your family and join us for a screening of the third episode, “Jesus Loves the Little Children”. We’ll provide popcorn and pizza, enjoy the episode, and then discuss this imaginative portrayal of Jesus and his ministry.
