GUIDELINES FOR RESUMING PUBLIC MASS

We will return to public Mass this weekend, May 23. While the way we celebrate and experience the sacraments will look very different, we are taking the essential steps to ensure a safe and protected environment for those who wish to attend while still providing live streamed options for those who cannot.

Please carefully review the information  HERE  so you are best informed of the current plans to gradually welcome back our community. Please note, all dates and directives are subject to change.

We are grateful for the opportunity to return to public worship together and look forward to the day when all restrictions can be lifted so that our entire parish family can be united. Until that time, we appreciate your cooperation, patience, understanding and, most importantly, your prayers.

A Mary Garden
Kim Slott, Assistant Director of Religious Education

Theresa DePung,
Director, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

As we honor Mary throughout the month of May, Kim and Theresa share more about the Mary Garden and demonstrate how to create one at home. Having a Mary Garden at home is a beautiful way to show devotion to Our Lady, and can also be a beautiful way to get your children involved. You can even be a witness to your neighborhood with your Mary Garden.

COVID PRAYER

The following prayer will replace the parish stewardship prayer at Mass until further notice.

Mother of Divine Love, we entrust to you our nation and world, our families and loved ones, that we may be spared the worst of this illness.

In this time of trial and testing, hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful.

For those already afflicted, obtain the grace of healing and deliverance.

For those working to help the sick and bring an end to this crisis, obtain the strength to continue their work.

Shelter us under the mantle of your protection, conform us to the will of the Father, remind us always of the love of your Son, Jesus, and bring his peace to our land and to our hearts.

Amen.
