STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Calling All Artists!

St. Pius X will once again construct an Outdoor Stations of the Cross display for Lent 2022. Please help us by creating art for one of the 15 stations! Art can be completed by children, adults, or families. You can use markers, crayons, collage, or paint.

Completed art is due to the Parish Center the week after Mardi Gras - Tuesday, March 8 or Wednesday, March 9.

TROOP 100 FISH FRYS ARE BACK!!

Please join us March 11 & April 8 to support the Boy Scouts! We will offer Dine-In & Drive Thru options!

St. Pius X has formed a team again this year for Born to Run, benefitting Woman's New Life Clinic. Woman’s New Life Clinic is a life-affirming counseling and medical clinic that serves women facing unplanned pregnancies in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge communities.

Born to Run is a family friendly event that will take place at the New Orleans Lakefront, Shelter #1 on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

Registration: 7:30 a.m.

1/2 Mile Fun Run: 8:30 a.m.

5K: 9:00 a.m.

It was a great week to be a Panther!

Second grade celebrated being in 2nd grade on TWOSDAY (2-22-22)!

Our talented students created some pretty amazing shoe box floats!

Our third graders walked in the Krewe of SPX Parade on campus!

We delivered yard signs to the future #ProudPanthers who will be joining us next school year! *Also, check out the "Welcome to SPX" video below that we sent to our new SPX families.

SPX BIBLE CAMP

ADORATION CHAPEL

The St. Pius X Blessed Seelos Adoration Chapel needs committed adorers. If you are having a hard time making prayer a priority, why don’t you try committing to a weekly appointment with God by signing up for Eucharistic Adoration? Most of our hours have one person signed up already and need a partner. Other hours are in urgent need of a committed adorer because no one is currently assigned.

Archdiocesan Spirituality Center Lenten Retreat in Daily Life (Virtual)

Would you like to begin your Lenten journey with an at home retreat? Perhaps you would like to deepen your relationship with God and experience praying with scripture. This retreat is for experienced prayers and those just beginning in prayer. If God is nudging you about beginning spiritual direction, the Lenten Retreat is a wonderful opportunity to experience what spiritual direction is. Attend a virtual opening group session; spend time in personal prayer with Scripture for approximately 30 minutes each day; meet with a trained spiritual director weekly during the retreat (private session).
