SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) alerts the public that Burnt Mill maintenance crew will be performing a road maintenance operation on State Route 18 (SR-18) in Crestline. Weather permitting.

Work will be performed on Monday, October 13 to Thursday, October 16 from 8am to 4pm at Blackfoot Trail to Panorama Point (Postmile 22.96 – 15.654). Crews will performing preventative maintenance operation such as stabilizing shoulders, installing new delineation, inspecting and cleaning drains as we shift to colder/wet weather conditions. One-way flagging traffic control will be in place throughout the work zone with possible hold times up to 15 minutes in each direction. Please reduce your speed when near work areas for the safety of crews and other drivers on the route. Signage will be placed ahead to indicate approaching roadway work.
