SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) alerts the public that our Specialized Complete Streets crew will continue their striping operation on State Route 18 (SR-18) and State Route 38 (SR-38) in the City of Big Bear. Weather Permitting.

Work will be from Monday, March 16th to Thursday, March 19th from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. The specialized street crews will be conducting a moving closure on State Route 18 from Paine Road to Shay Road on State Route 38. The main focus of the operation is to repurpose the crosswalks throughout the City of Big Bear.

Watch for signage alerting motorists of upcoming maintenance and remember to reduce your speed in and surrounding the work zone. CHP will be present to assist with traffic control.
