RIVERSIDE, CA – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on State Route 74 (SR-74) in Riverside County from the Riverside and Orange County border to Monte Vista St. just west of Lake Elsinore. Weather permitting.
A 55-hour weekend full closure will occur from Friday, February 25 through Monday, February 28. No through traffic will be allowed from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. All commuters must utilize an alternate route. Work will take place just east of the County line on SR-74.
Please note:
Residents on Tenaja Truck Trail or west of Tenaja Truck Trail, including the Ortega Oaks RV Park and Campground and the Candy Store, will be directed to Lake Elsinore and WILL NOT be given access to go through to Orange County. Residents, please continue to wait for the designated pilot car to escort you in and out of the construction zone to your areas of access.
