School Messanger Coming January 17th
Beginning January 17, 2022, the Sanborn Regional School District will be using a new communication tool called School Messenger. This new system will allow parents to receive school and district information via automated phone call, email, and/or text message (a new feature that we didn't have with the older system). If you would like to receive updates by text, you will need to opt-in to this service using the instructions below. These updates will include newsletters, special announcements, and emergency/non emergency announcements and school closures/delays.

SRSD Strategic Plan: Feedback Needed
The SRSD administration team spent many months crafting the draft, looking carefully at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges facing the school district. The draft has 5 distinct targets covering the areas of Student Achievement, People, Facility Operations, Community Engagement, and Safety & Security.
At this time, we are asking for input from members of our community: parents, families, staff, residents, and business owners in the District. The Strategic Plan Survey will remain active until January 11, 2022. Your voices and input at this stage of development will enable us to develop a plan that truly represents the hopes and aspirations of the entire district.
Thank you for your time and input into this important process. Future updates will be posted to the SAU 17 website.

NH Launches a New Way to Assist During Mental and Substance Misuse Crises
A new resource aimed to provide faster help to people struggling with mental health or substance misuse is now available in New Hampshire.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness chapter for New Hampshire has launched a “Rapid Response Access Point." This service provides individuals in the state of New Hampshire with immediate, 24/7 access to mental health and/or substance use crisis support via telephone, text and chat.
Callers will be connected to a clinically trained person who will do an assessment on the phone and determine whether a further assessment is and will assist people in setting up an appointment.
Depending on your needs, the crisis contact center can:
- Send a team member from a community mental health center to meet you right where you are – in your home, or another location in the community.
- Provide fast access to outpatient services, which may include psychiatry, counseling, and case management.
- Refer you to inpatient treatment options, if appropriate, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – including holidays.
