The 2021 season marks the 100th birthday of Astor Piazzolla... the composer who revolutionized tango music. Astor's wife, Laura, established the Astor Piazzolla Foundation with the objective of promoting his legacy. The foundation created the Quinteto Astor Piazzolla in 1998 and, for over 21 years, it has toured the world receiving high acclaims by the international press, and is considered to be the only ensemble capable of representing the true and pure style of Astor Piazzolla.

Winner – 2019 Best Asia/Pacific Album (Songlines Music Awards, UK); Winner – 2018 Best International Project (Asia Side of the Doc); Nominated – Best Concept Album & Best Music Website (17th Independent Music Awards, USA). This collective of indigenous musicians share a seafaring ancestry across the islands of the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Together, they create a 'songline' revolving around common cultural, historical and environmental issues such as sea level rise and global warming's effect on their delicate homelands. With a career at the pinnacle of Irish traditional music for over three decades Altan has achieved legendary status in a genre that has been equally shaped by the band's influence and genius. Formed in County Donegal in 1987, they were first traditional Irish group to be signed to a major label (Virgin Records 1994), and went on to sell over a million records. Group founder Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, one of the best known faces, voices and fiddlers in traditional music, was named "Musician Of The Year" at 2017 Gradam Ceoil TG4, the premier annual traditional music awards scheme of Ireland.

Danny Chang and his Golden Dragon Acrobats continue their rigorous, 30+ year US touring schedule of a centuries-old Chinese art form, presenting over 200 performances annually. In 2005, their Broadway debut and seven-week run at the New Victory Theater earned two prestigious New York Drama Desk Awards nominations (Angela Chang for Best Choreography and Danny Chang for Most Unique Theatrical Experience). The Golden Dragon Acrobats returned to the Broadway venue for the holiday 2014 season, making them the ONLY acrobatic troupe from China chosen to perform twice at this prestigious venue!

The roots of maestro Jose Hernàndez trace back five generations to the music's birthplace in Jalisco, Mexico. His acclaimed group, Sol De Mexico, navigates traditional mariachi, pop, jazz, swing and Broadway tunes, and is the only Mariachi in the world that performs in the classical music circuit. Their popular theme shows like "Merry Mariachi Christmas" (holiday music of Europe, US, and Latin America, along with selections from the song book of Mariachi classics) and "Un Dia de los Muertos" (Oct/Nov) can be performed as a concert or with orchestra.

Described by the Huffington Post as "an evolutionary force in contemporary Middle Eastern music," Niyaz (which means "yearning"), has created a 21st century global trance tradition by blending medieval Sufi poetry and folk songs from their native Iran and surrounding countries with rich acoustic instrumentation and modern electronics. Their multimedia and multisensory "Fourth Light Project" combines live musical and sacred dance performances with advanced interactive projection / body-mapping technologies.

What started out in 1982 at a Western Massachusetts elderly housing project to joyfully pass the time instead of passing before your time has developed into the stereotype-defying, generation-crossing musical extravaganza better known as the Young@Heart Chorus. From The New York Times to TIME, The Ellen Show to The Daily Show and stars of the hit Fox Searchlight documentary, Young@Heart, this group of seniors, ranging in age from 73-92, has performed from Northampton to New Zealand, Europe to Japan, on over 30 international tours proving it's "possible to grow old without growing boring."
