SAS AB appoints Anko Van der Werff as new President and CEO
SAS AB’s Board of Directors appoints Anko Van der Werff as President and CEO. He will join the company at the latest on July 15, 2021. Mr. Van der Werff is a 45-year-old Dutch native with an outstanding career in the global airline industry. He currently leads the airline group at Avianca Holdings in Colombia. This is the first time that a non-Scandinavian native will act as CEO of the carrier.

Rickard Gustafson appointed President and CEO of SKF
Rickard Gustafson will step down from his position as chief executive of the Scandinavian airline group SAS in the first half of the year to take the helm at the Swedish bearings maker SKF, the companies announced in January 2021.

World’s first certified carbon neutrally produced oil sold by Lundin Energy
Lundin Energy has sold the world’s first ever certified carbon neutrally produced oil from its Edvard Grieg field, offshore Norway. Lundin Energy described the deal as a milestone in that it offers a proof point of where the crude market is heading, with an independent certification bringing transparency and traceability. From 2025, every barrel produced by Lundin Energy, will be produced as carbon neutral.
"The provenance of a barrel and how it is produced is increasingly important, as society and industry require lower carbon feedstocks to achieve emission reduction targets and meet the goals of the Paris Agreement”, Nick Walker, CEO of Lundin Energy said.
