Dear Church Family,

Believe it or not, the season of Lent is almost upon us.  This important time on the church calendar is meant for self-reflection, working towards forgiveness, and preparing for the work required of us as followers of Jesus Christ. To work towards such an effort, we will be reading and discussing the book, Everybody Always by Bob Goff. This five-week virtual study will point us towards what it means to love in a world that sometimes doesn’t seem so lovable. Goff’s infectious personality and wonderful storytelling will help define what we mean by love, how we practice it, and who we show this love to. All group studies will be virtual this Lent, utilizing Zoom as a resource. Zoom links for the different sessions will be sent out in a future newsletter or email blast, so be on the lookout!

The book can be purchased on several online sites including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or many several local shops as well. There are Kindle and Nook versions available if you prefer such a format. Please make sure you are buying just the book. You will not need the study guide or videos. Those will be utilized by your leaders as they see fit. We hope as part of your Lenten disciplines, you will take the time to read and join the discussion. Lent gives us a wonderful opportunity to focus on what really matters to us as a community. What a better place to start than with love?
