What is Stay & Play?

The Stay & Play Program is intended for Family, Friends and Neighbors (FFNs) who help take care of children ages 0-5 years old. Stay & Play offers adults that care for young children a space and time to connect. It also provides an opportunity for children to socialize and interact with other children their age in an informal (virtual) setting. We look forward to giving families, friends, and our neighbors a place they can learn and grow together. This program incorporates storytime with playtime and can even include guest presenters! We hope you gain helpful tips, useful information, and above all - time to build a meaningful relationship with the children you care for. We hope to make this event as accessible and helpful as possible.

A Zoom link will be sent after you’ve registered.

Don’t forget to pick up your FREE early literacy kit at the Grand Avenue Branch Library, 306 Walnut Ave. We’ll be using the items in the kit at the programs.

Stay & Play is made possible with funding from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. This project is supported in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
