LETTER FROM SISTER REGINA

A Happy and Blessed 2024 to one and all! Thank you very much for your many kindnesses to me during this Christmas Season. The greetings, cards, baked goods, and gifts were all greatly appreciated and enjoyed. I am grateful for your thoughtfulness and generosity. I am thankful for all the people who gave of their time, talent, and treasure and helped with our pre-Christmas events. Our Breakfast with Santa, Santa’s Secret Shop, Christmas Concert, Preschool, Kindergarten and 8th grade pageants certainly created a wonderful spirit while keeping us focused on the true Reason for the Season, the celebration of the Birth of Christ. I am truly blessed to be part of this wonderful parish school family! Know that you and your families are remembered very especially in my prayers of thanksgiving.

I invite you to join with us on Friday, January 5 for our School Mass as we pray for the needs of our school family. Mass will begin at 10:30AM. Student Peacemakers for the month of December will be acknowledged.

Sincerely,

Sister Regina

2023-2024 Inclement Weather Procedures

School Closures/Emergency Dismissal Form ONE PER STUDENT - Please Return ASAP

Any time you hear or see “West Chester School District” is closed or opening late, this includes Saints Simon and Jude School. When the District is closed or late, this means the buses do not run, or run late. We follow their directives, since so many of our students ride their buses to and from school. Communication will be sent via the FACTS Parent Alert system.

In the event that a snow storm or other emergency situation occurs AFTER our school day has begun, and an EARLY DISMISSAL IS NECESSARY, we will send out phone/email/text messages through FACTS. This type of early dismissal certainly is not foreseeable, but it’s better to be prepared for such an emergency. Please click here to fill you out the ONE PER STUDENT 2023-2024 Emergency Dismissal Procedure form.

CARES Inclement Weather Reminders

If the school has a two-hour delay, there is no morning CARES. If there is an early dismissal, there is no afternoon CARES.
