Give Us your feedback on the Calumet Triangle Planning Study

The South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association is inviting community members to provide feedback on the Calumet Triangle Planning Study. If you live, work, or travel through South Holland, Lansing, Calumet City, or surrounding areas, your voice can help shape the future of this vital part of the South Suburbs.

The Calumet Triangle features a mix of residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational land uses. Some areas support strong neighborhoods, while others offer essential goods, services, and jobs. This planning study focuses on improving transportation and exploring new opportunities for housing, shopping, employment, recreation, and civic engagement—especially along Torrence Avenue, a key corridor for cars, bikes, pedestrians, and transit users.

If you couldn't attend the recent Open House, there's still time to share your input—review the meeting materials below and tell us what you think about the Calumet Triangle Planning Study and its proposed improvements.

Make your voice heard—help guide a more connected, vibrant future for the Calumet Triangle.
