Join us for the South Suburban Airport Luncheon!
On Monday, September 25th, South Suburban Airport supporters, including SSMMA, the CSEDC, and CSCC, will host an upcoming South Suburban Airport Luncheon from noon until 2:00pm. This unique event, taking place at the Vernard L. Alsberry Municipal Center, will feature Angela Gittens, Retired Director General at Airports Councils International - ACI World and 2023 National Aviation Hall of Fame Inductee. The luncheon will include a delicious meal catered by Scrementi's.

Attendees will have the chance to hear from an aviation industry leader about the latest airport trends and gain insights into the future opportunities of the South Suburban Airport. The ticket cost for this event is $60.00. Find more information and registration details here.

• The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus and Illinois Department of Human Services recently announced a notice of funding opportunity for $42.5M which was included in the State’s FY24 budget for municipality funding of asylum seeker services.
