Thank you to all the awesome business owners and organizations who donated towards our auction and support us year after year. SSSG at the Movies
Our faculty concert, SSSG at the Movies, was a resounding success last Sunday. We had a record attendance-not sure if that was because of the free popcorn-and everyone really enjoyed the performance. Thank you to all of you who came out to support your teachers! We heard music from the movies Coco, Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Schindler's List, Twilight, The Amazing Showman and more! Thank you to faculty members, Paule Barsalou, Andrea Cook, Jeremy Cook, Carmen Evans, Ken Gee,Elayne Ras and Joy Schuster for their beautiful performances. Thank you also to our wonderful emcee Caroline MacDonald and all the students who introduced pieces and movies throughout the concert. Finally, thank you to the volunteers who helped at the door and with staging. We raised $721.75 for the bursary fund!!!!

A note from the GYMC re the new code code
Good Morning Program Leads,

It has come to our attention that various program parents are giving the access code to their young children (under the age of 10); e.g. one parent child's was eager to show her mom how she can enter code and in doing so said the code out loud -  for obvious reasons we do not want this to happen.  As a security measure the access code should be entered by the parents of young children.  Keep in mind that even a 10 (or + 10) year old child who is in entry way entering the access code might have difficulty not letting someone they don't know it.   Parents need to understand and action as appropriate.

Please notify your teachers, members, etc. as you see fit.

Sincerely,

Valerie
