SSSG Chamber Music program chamber
SSSG and area Suzuki Piano teachers collaborate each year to offer a program for our students in Chamber music. This is an optional program which is different to, and complementary with, our lessons, groups and orchestra programs, as it encompasses small groups of different instruments working together with one person on each part. The most well-known example would be a string quartet, but many other combinations of instruments are also possible.

Students who are in late bk 2 and above, and who are comfortable reading music can apply to participate in the program. Please discuss with your teacher if your child might be ready to participate in a chamber music experience.

A registration fee of $20 needs to accompany the application form and payment for coaching by our teachers (which occur sporadically throughout the year) is the responsibility of the individual group's members.

Please have all forms and the application fee (either in cash or a chq made out to SSSG) in to Elayne's folder by this Saturday, October 26.

*Please ask your teacher for an application form for the Chamber Music Program or contact Elayne directly at: [email protected]
