ST. LUCIA (November 11, 2019) - Honoring Veterans Day in the United States and Remembrance Day in St. Lucia, a prominent Caribbean resort group is recognizing the noble work of veterans and first responders in both countries by offering them significant savings on accommodations over the next year.
Beginning November 11, 2019 and continuing for an entire year, military veterans and essential service providers, such as police and firemen, will enjoy an additional 10 percent discount off already deeply discounted published rates on accommodations at Bay Gardens Resorts. Additionally, a 20 percent reduction for all food, beverage and spa services will be extended to servicemen and women.
Acknowledging the bravery and commitment of firefighters in California, Bay Gardens Resorts' Executive Director Sanovnik Destang declared: "On this Veterans Day holiday, we stand with those who have sacrificed their lives and those brave people who continue to put theirs on the line to protect their communities."
Destang paid tribute to St. Lucia's vets as well as those men and women who continue to valiantly serve their communities.
Veterans Day is a legal holiday in the U.S. honoring all veterans of the armed forces, while on Remembrance Day in St. Lucia, nationals pay their respects to those who sacrificed their lives during the world wars.
Guests staying at any Bay Gardens property benefit from complimentary high-speed WiFi, shuttle service between properties, nonmotorized water sports activities and unlimited passes to Splash Island Water Park, the first open water sports park in the Eastern Caribbean, located off St. Lucia's famous Reduit Beach.
