Be Unique - Be a Leader - Be Aquinas
Knightly News - July 30, 2017
Principal's Post

As we are approaching the end of July, it means that the start of school is just around the corner. I hope that everyone in the STA family has found time for some rest over the summer.

Here at STA we have been busy preparing the school with newly waxed floors and new wall-mounted projectors in the classrooms. We have been performing maintenance on our buses, and have purchased and are preparing 4 new carts of Chromebooks for students.

We have much to be excited about for this upcoming year. We have a new athletic director, some new coaches and new teachers, and some new curriculum to provide our students the best learning opportunities.

I want to make sure that everyone is aware of some upcoming dates for the start of the school year. The first is our Annual Pig Roast which is Saturday, August 12, at Sirpilla Stadium. This promises to be a lot of fun and a great way to kick off our school year and our fall sports seasons. Tickets may be purchased from any STA High School athlete or you may contact, Ryan Hill, STA Athletic Director.

Here are some other important dates:
  • Freshmen Orientation and Class Dinner: Tuesday August 15
  • Middle School Dinner: Thursday, August 17
  • First Day of School: Tuesday, August 22

Have a great Aquinas week!

St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us.
Principal Schlueter

Ways to Support STA
St Thomas Aquinas High School is partnering with Schoola ( ).

What’s Schoola? It’s a great way to raise funds for our school. Schoola collects pre-loved women's and children’s clothes, preps and sells them online, and gives 40% of the proceeds (minus the cost of inbound shipping) back to St Thomas Aquinas High School to help fund programs for our kids. That’s $2 out of every $5 earned back to our school! Simply click on the image to view our very own Schoola landing page where you can request a bag and view our progress and funds earned

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to St. Thomas Aquinas High School & Middle School to help fund programs for our students. Every little bit counts, donations quickly add up.

It's easy! Type and log into your account. Select St. Thomas Aquinas High School (yes the Middle School benefits too!), Louisville, OH. That's it. Now whenever you make a purchase STA benefits.

Thank you for your support!

Don't forget to forward this to your family and friends!  And encourage them to sign up to receive their own copy of this email blast.
