Be Unique - Be a Leader - Be Aquinas
Knightly News - October 1, 2017
Principal's Post

I had the pleasure of attending the 2017 STA Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet Saturday evening in the STA gymnasium. There were over 100 people in attendance to welcome and honor our newest inductees. Throughout the evening each inductee spoke of their experience at STA and how important their families were to them, including their Aquinas family. They also shared how their years at Aquinas helped to make them the successful people that they have become.

Their stories reaffirm in me my commitment to ensure that STA remains a special place and continues to shape the lives of the young men and women who travel our hallways and learn in our classrooms. Having said that, I need to make sure we back up our words with action. This leads us to this video from about today’s Gospel in which Jesus tells us that he is interested in how we serve others. Take a look at this video from

Please continue to pray for God’s will to be done at St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Middle School.

Have a great Aquinas week!

St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us.

"Catholic schools afford the fullest and best opportunity to realize the fourfold purpose of Christian education, namely, to provide an atmosphere in which the Gospel message is proclaimed, community in Christ is experienced, service to our sisters and brothers is the norm, and thanksgiving and worship of God is cultivated" (University of Notre Dame, Alliance for Catholic Education, 2017).

Ways to Support STA
St Thomas Aquinas High School is partnering with Schoola ( ).

What’s Schoola? It’s a great way to raise funds for our school. Schoola collects pre-loved women's and children’s clothes, preps and sells them online, and gives 40% of the proceeds (minus the cost of inbound shipping) back to St Thomas Aquinas High School to help fund programs for our kids. That’s $2 out of every $5 earned back to our school! Simply click on the image to view our very own Schoola landing page where you can request a bag and view our progress and funds earned

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to St. Thomas Aquinas High School & Middle School to help fund programs for our students. Every little bit counts, donations quickly add up.

It's easy! Type and log into your account. Select St. Thomas Aquinas High School (yes the Middle School benefits too!), Louisville, OH. That's it. Now whenever you make a purchase STA benefits.

Thank you for your support!

Don't forget to forward this to your family and friends! And encourage them to  sign up  to receive their own copy of this email blast.
