The health care system is changing rapidly, now more than ever. Value over volume, increased competition for talent, staff burnout, evolving technology, and numerous other demands are challenging health center leaders in ways not seen before. For health center leaders, intentional focus and strategic planning must link the individual, organization and larger system in seamless fashion to drive a transformation and culture of excellence that makes your health center the place employees want to come, stay and make a difference.

New Resource to Help Health Center Staff Prepare for Site Visits

HRSA's new Onsite Interviews and Interactions Resource assists health centers in preparing for the interviews and interactions that take place during Health Center Program operational site visits and look-alike initial designation visits. HRSA encourages health centers to use it along with the Site Visit Protocol and other site visit-related resources available on their website to support a successful and smooth site visit.

The Onsite Interviews and Interactions Resource explains how the site visit team will interact with health center staff and review health center systems and procedures during the site visit.

The Health Center Resource Clearinghouse is designed as a one-stop online repository of training and technical assistance resources developed for health centers by the 20 NCAs. Topics include finance, operations, workforce, quality improvement, capital development, HIT/data, governance and emerging issues. Click here to take a look!
Remote Scribes, Transcription, Talk-to-Type, and Virtual Assistants: This HITEQ Center resource introduces different transcription, scribing, dictation, and virtual assistant services, and reasons why health centers may consider using them to reduce the burden of EHR documentation.
