Updates from the STAR² Center

Medical, nursing, dental, and mental/behavioral health clinicians and trainees s eeking employment are invited to participate in HRSA's Virtual Job Fair on October 16 from 6:45 - 10:45 p.m. ET. During the fair, attendees will learn about available training and employment opportunities across the country, benefit packages offered, and general information about patient populations.  

Community Health Center, Inc., (CHCI), a HRSA-funded NCA, will lead an eight-month learning collaborative to help health centers implement a postgraduate residency training program. Content will include transformational strategies and coaching support provided through:
  • Videoconference learning sessions with 10-12 primary care teams across the country.
  • Bi-weekly coach mentoring provided by CHCI's certified coach mentors.
  • Access to web-based resources.

In this second webinar, MCN will dive deep into methods of strengthening peer support in the workplace, the single most important factor associated with well-being under challenging circumstances. They will look at the nuts and bolts of bolstering "reasonable hope" and amplifying existing resilience styles, and consider brief team meeting frameworks to build connections and support.
