Our 5-home STAR development in Ashland is moving along! We invite everyone to enjoy a kickoff event with us on November 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the corner of S. Taylor Street and Arlington Street. There will be free food, music, and activities! Overflow parking is at Ashland Church of God. Bring your own chair!

Ways to Support Habitat

We are excited about our new five-home development located at South Taylor and Arlington Streets in Ashland. These five houses will become secure homes for 6 adults and 14 children.

To construct the homes and create a stable environment for these 20 individuals, we require substantial community support. The total funding needed, including infrastructure work, is over $1,600,000. Currently, we've successfully raised over $900,000.

For this transformative project to become a reality, we need to raise an additional $700,000, and we need YOUR gift.

You can contribute in various ways: 

• Become a monthly donor
• Make a one-time gift
• Mail a check donation
• Donate a gift of securities

The quicker we secure these funds, the sooner we can get these individuals and families into their new homes. Please consider making your gift TODAY!

Walmart Spark Good Round-Up Program

Spark Good Round-Up is a program that allows Walmart.com and Walmart app customers to round up their purchase total to the nearest dollar at checkout and donate the "change" to our nonprofit.

To support Hanover and King William Habitat please:

• Log into your Walmart account
• Under your account settings, click "Giving & impact"
• Click on "Select local charity," search by zip code, 23111, and choose Habitat for Humanity that serves Hanover and King William.
• Once it is connected to your account, you will be given the option to round up your purchase prior to final payment.

Hanover and King William Habitat will be participating in Giving Tuesday on Tuesday, November 28. We hope this day will bring our community together to support our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
