St. Mary ACYOA Juniors e-Gaming night

The St. Mary ACYOA Juniors youth group met on Saturday July 11th, via Zoom, for an e-Gaming night.  The evening started off with a prayer by Yn. Jennifer Karapetyan, followed by a low tech game lead by Becky Bagdasarian. The online games were organized by Juniors member Hovsep Seferian. The teens enjoyed gathering together, even if electronically, to chat and game.
Please listen to Dr. Maggy Avedisian as she shares wonderful tips and advice on how to get back to a normal routine after the pandemic from the perspective of our faith in God, our individual and communal prayer, and fellowship with each other."

Arman Mkrtchyan and the entire Armenian Embassy staff.
St. Mary's Food Festival - Carry-Out Edition

Despite the obstacles created by COVID 19, our dedicated members came together to plan and organize a Mini-Food Festival Carry-Out Edition. The Parish Council and Women's Guild members worked tirelessly last week to make the festival a success. Women's Guild members have been baking delicious desserts and Parish Council organized meat cutting on Wednesday for the delicious Shish Kabob. A group of dedicated volunteers dedicated their time and energy over the weekend to cook, grill and serve over 500 meals.

This Festival was different as the church has implemented appropriate safety measures according to the DC guidelines and food safety precautions to keep everyone safe. In addition, it was only carry-out with the option to pick up in the drive-through from the side of the church.
Our appreciation goes to Sevada Sinanian of Nora's Cafe for his support as well as the Knights of Vartan for their help with the meat cutting.

Special thanks to Meduni for their support. Utmost appreciation also goes to all of our dedicated volunteers and contributors for their tireless service to our church.
