How You Enrich the Lives of Sr. Thea Scholars

Dear Joseph

I’m filled with gratitude for the incredible momentum we’ve built together in helping our Scholars pursue—and achieve—the dream of a college degree. Thanks to your generous support, the Foundation is expanding scholarship opportunities, strengthening enrichment programs, and deepening our commitment to the academic and spiritual formation of our Scholars. Every step our Scholars take toward a college degree is a testament to your belief in our mission and the future you’re helping make possible. Please read below for an update on how your support is bringing hope and opportunity to our Scholars.

May God continue to bless you, your families, and loved ones.

Supporting Students Beyond the Classroom: Enrichment with Purpose

The Foundation’s Enrichment Program supports our commitment to developing the whole human person within the framework of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. Our mission is to develop the spiritual growth of our scholars through mentorship, leadership development, and faith-based experiences. Your support helps provide the tools and opportunities our students need to thrive and lead with purpose. From leadership development and mentorship to retreats, workshops, and community-building opportunities, this program fosters a strong sense of identity, purpose, and belonging.

Congratulations to this Year's Graduating Scholars!

With the Commencement season underway, the Foundation is proud to celebrate our Class of 2025 Scholars, whose hard work and dedication have carried them across the finish line.

Welcoming Our New Class of Scholars

The Foundation welcomes its Class of 2029 cohort of inspiring young leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, service and faith.

Meet the Scholars

This spring, we launched a special video series that brings you face-to-face with our Scholars. Visit our website or social media channels to hear directly from them as they share how the Foundation has shaped their lives, goals, and futures—in their own words.

Our social media channels and blog section of the Foundation website will feature a different Scholar each week.

Annual Dinner Clears Goal of $90K for Scholarships

Held at Acrisure Stadium, the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the dinner raised over $92,000 to support college scholarships for Sr. Thea Scholars attending the eight Catholic university and college partner institutions of the Foundation. We were proud to honor our Scholars and Calvin Allen, a graduate of the program who now serves as Executive Vice President at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
