Dear STC Members:
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, the STC is announcing today that we will hold the 2020 Annual Membership in a virtual format instead of in-person. The 2020 STC Annual Membership Meeting LIVE, including the Exhibitor Showcase and Awards Ceremony, will take place the week of October 19, 2020. The in-person meeting was scheduled October 19-21 at the Omni Shoreham in Washington D.C.
Ultimately, the public health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff led all parties to conclude that delaying a face-to-face meeting was the safe and responsible action. We understand that many stakeholders are involved in making the STC Annual Membership Meeting a "must attend" networking event and we thank everyone for their time and support. In particular, we want to thank the Omni Shoreham hotel and staff for their cooperation and mutual understanding of the COVID-19-related factors beyond our control that led to this decision.
While we look forward to a time when we can reconvene the STC membership face-to-face, the STC staff team is exercising their creativity and imagination to deliver a 2020 STC Annual Membership Meeting LIVE that will exceed your expectations! STC LIVE will take place the week of October 19th and include a lot of the same great content and opportunities to learn and network that were planned for D.C. We will reach out with specific communications to content leaders, volunteer committee members, sponsors and exhibitors. If you were already registered to attend or exhibit the face-to-face STC Annual Membership Meeting in D.C, you will receive a separate communication shortly about how to transfer your registration to the LIVE event or request a refund. STC will share engagement opportunities with sponsors and exhibitors as they relate to the 2020 STC Annual Membership Meeting LIVE by late July to confirm your interest and desired level of participation.
