Greetings Everyone…
Before summer turns into autumn, we wanted to share with you that we’ve been working towards making some inroads into Simon and Schuster to discuss a third edition of the Share The Care book. Not an easy feat these days since the editors we worked with in the past are no longer there.
The purpose of this blast is to introduce those of you who work with people suffering from dementia, or Alzheimer’s disease to author Tracy Cram Perkins and her comprehensive book: Dementia Home Care-How to Prepare Before, During, and After. Tracy should know, she is a four-time dementia caregiving survivor.
Tracy invited me some time ago to appear on her podcast “The Dementia Home Care Show” to introduce Share The Care. It finally happened, providing me with the opportunity to cite some of the protocols I developed to include in a new edition. Every time I have mentioned these potential additions to anyone, the reactions have been positive.
