Parent Back-to-School Curriculum Nights
Wednesday, August 14 at 6:30 PM

  • Grades 1 - 6
  • 6:30 PM - 6:55 PM - Meet in the classroom with teachers. Parents with siblings on the same night should pick one classroom, followed by the second session with the other teacher.
  • 7:00 PM -7:20 PM - Second session for parents with more than one student in grades 1-6.
  • SIXTH Grade Program this evening!
  • Note: Rescheduled night for Sixth (6th) Grade.

Thursday, August 15 at 6:30 PM

  • Grades 7-8
  • Parents report to student's homeroom at 6:30 PM. Parents will follow, in 10 minute increments, the "bell schedule" of a student's Thursday schedule. Five minutes will be provided at the end of teacher presentations to move to the next location.
  • Intra-Curricular areas (Spanish, Music, Art, PE, Technology) will be included in the schedule..
  • Note: Rescheduled night for Sixth (6th) Grade (see Wednesday, August 14 - the correct night for Sixth Grade).

STO (School Tuition Organization) News
Deadline for the CEA/Fair Round 2 application is Friday, August 16th. We encourage all families (regardless of income) to apply. Most years, St. Theresa can reallocate funds to every family that applies. Last year each family that applied received $250 if they did not receive other CEA funds. The year before, each family received $500! Apply today at www.fairapp.com.

Safe Environment
Anyone volunteering to serve youth in the Diocese of Phoenix is required to be in compliance with Safe Environment regulations. If you are a new family to Saint Theresa, or have not already completed the Safe Environment (SET) Foundation Training, please schedule a class. All parents are encouraged to complete this requirement. Please click on links below for instructions . Please, Register for Foundation Classes - Walk-Ins Will Not Be Accepted!!!





The Diocese of Phoenix is transitioning to a new Safe Environment Training Platform that will be significantly different than the one previously used. The requirement to be Safe Environment Trained (SET) remains the same, parents new to the school must attend a Foundations Class and those renewing their training must do so shortly after the July 1 start of renewals.

STCS Student Cantors
As we continue to build student involvement in music ministry, students grade 4 or higher are invited to participate as the psalm cantor at school masses. Student cantors should be able to commit to personal independent preparation time, as well as a brief coaching session with the music director during the week prior to being scheduled to cantor. Concurrent participation in the school mass vocal ensemble is also required. Parents – if your student is interested, please contact Brian in the Parish Office at  bkinzie@stphx.org .
