Safe Environment
Anyone volunteering to serve youth n the Diocese of Phoenix is required to be in compliance with Safe Environment regulations. IF you are a new family to Saint Theresa, or who have not already completed the Safe Environment (SET) Foundation Training, a session has been scheduled at Saint Theresa for Friday, August 2nd at 6:00 PM in Fr. Feeney Hall. All parents are encouraged to complete this requirement. Please click on links below for instructions.

The Diocese of Phoenix is transitioning to a new Safe Environment Training Platform that will be significantly different than the one previously used. The requirement to be Safe Environment Trained (SET) remains the same, parents new to the school must attend a Foundations Class and those renewing their training must do so shortly after the July 1 start of renewals.

Information will be sheared as the new platform is rolled out. Please see the letter from the Diocese for additional explanation. Mrs. Beth Rons is the SET coordinator for Saint Theresa Catholic School and can be reached at (602) 840-0010 ext. 118 or

Theology of the Body
curriculum comes to STCS
As required by the Diocese, STCS will implement a Theology of the Body (TOB) curriculum in grades PS - 4 this year. Teachers have attended curriculum workshops, materials have been ordered, and STCS has pilot tested the curriculum last year. Please watch for additional information from the classroom teachers as this program is implemented. For additional information, please read the linked flyer.
Uniform Footwear
As you purchase footwear to be worn with the STCS uniform, please be reminded that the guidelines call for either all black or all white athletic shoes. There are many available options available that meet this criteria, and it is best to avoid confusion by adhering to these simple choices. For those children with specific orthopedic needs, some exceptions are made to allow for specific manufacturers. Please refrain from using these exceptions for stylistic considerations.

Thank you for reducing distractions in the classrooms and making our student body look great by being consistent. It is a wonderful reminder to behave cohesively and cooperatively.
