STEAM Updates and Reminders
Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students,

Please read this with your child.

I hope you are safe and healthy! Thank you for your continued support and patience as we live through these uncharted times. We are here to help continue student learning and progress. Below you will find suggestions, resources, and our academic supports. Google Classroom will be our teachers' communication and instructional delivery platform. The links and codes are here .

Students must use their @memphissteam.org account for google classroom. If you need username or password information please email [email protected].

Please know that all of our academic supports are highly recommended. We will know more about grades, student accountability, and operations in the coming days. In the meantime, I strongly encourage you to engage in the recommended district activities found at www.scsk12.org and tasks provided by MSSA teachers found on Google Classroom, so that learning and practice of all skills continue.

Here is how our KnightsCARE values and MSSA priorities can make a difference:

  1. Collaborate: Reach out to peers, friends, neighbors, family, and others safely, but stay connected.
  2. Attitude: Your attitude, words, and actions can make today matter.
  3. Responsibility: Learning and caring for our community is on our shoulders.
  4. Effort: Our time, tenacity, and creativity is going to be tested. "We try once, twice, one hundred times, but we never give up!"
  5. Patience and Flexibility: Information is being updated and we are getting more facts and information by the hour. Things will change.
  6. Communicate Positively: If you are using social media at this time, know that our community is watching, reading, and responding to you. Stay positive and factual.

KnightsCARE means that we are here for citizenship, social and emotional needs, and our Dr. Mac, our School Counselor is available for consultation, phone calls, and even zoom face to face support. You can reach her at [email protected].
