December 2019 Newsletter
I have decided to add a monthly newsletter about STEM activities and events around mid-Michigan because there is SO MUCH good stuff happening that the ETP Newsletter, which you should be getting via email monthly and which covers 8 counties of news, can't support it all. My hope is that you will see ongoing activities and efforts and say, "Wow, I want that happening here!" Let me know if that happens to you, and I'll be happy to get great things going at your organization!

Did you open and read the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance ETP Newsletter ? IT WAS DROPPED INTO YOUR MAILBOX ON DECEMBER 4! There are a couple of good articles there! Emma Marshall was a very successful intern from Mid Michigan College to the Isabella Trial Court. She is a great example of filling your pipeline gaps with an internship!

Another article of interest: There is a big expansion to our concept of Apprenticeship. Employers from almost all walks of work are looking to grab local talent, put them to work while training on the job and providing support for their education. Not just for electricians and welders anymore!!
