Thanks for requesting bus parking and information. Please carefully read below for the location to safely unload and load your students and where to find surface lot and street parking for your bus(es).

The easiest, safest, and ONLY location for bus unloading and loading is the 23rd Street Circle drive off of San Jacinto Blvd. It is a short walk to the Speedway Mall, WEL, and POB where STEM Girl Day activities are hosted. Once the drivers unload the bus(es) make your way up the stairs and continue to walk until you reach the Speedway Pedestrian Mall and the STEM Girl Day Information Tent. It's a short .14 miles or about 400 steps from Winship Circle. From there, you’ll make a right and see signage directing you to different activities.

Buses are not allowed to load or unload on Dean Keeton, Speedway or any other street. City ordinance and campus transportation policies prohibit bus loading and unloading at undesignated spaces and police will ticket violators. It is also unsafe for your students.

We have received a large volume of bus requests and will not be able to accommodate everyone with an assigned parking spot. However, we were able to secure many parking spaces on surface lots near UT available on a first come first serve basis. Feel free to park at any of the parking lots listed below. There are no shuttles from any of these sites to UT's campus so please plan accordingly.

Enter 9700 U.S. 290 Austin TX. 78724 or 10801 Giles Lane Austin TX. 78724 into Google Maps or Waze to navigate to the parking area.

• It is best to enter the parking lot via Crofford Ln
• You may park in any of the areas that are circled in red on the map below

IF for some reason any of these areas are not suitable, you can park anywhere as long as you:

·      Do not park in the loading docks in the rear of the buildings

·      Do not block any entrance/exit

·      Do not park in any handicap or fire lanes

·      Do not block any other buses or cars
