Virtual STEM Resources to Keep You Going
Greetings!

Does social distancing find you stir-crazy? Check out a few fun STEM-powered resources to help you stay busy and entertained from the comfort of your couch!
"We're raising our girls to be perfect, and we're raising our boys to be brave," says Reshma Saujani, the founder of Girls Who Code. Saujani has taken up the charge to socialize young girls to take risks and learn to program -- two skills they need to move society forward. To truly innovate, we cannot leave behind half of our population, she says. "I need each of you to tell every young woman you know to be comfortable with imperfection." Check out her TED talk to hear more.
The National Women's History Museum has some neat online exhibits to take you through the history of many notable women and movements throughout history, including Women in STEM and the Women of NASA.
Have you checked out the Smithsonian Learning Lab yet? It was created to inspire the discovery and creative use of the Smithsonian Museum's rich digital materials - more than a million images, recordings, and texts. Students can use it to explore interests, create their own collections and collaborate with each other on their activities.
