All together seven individuals were inducted into the St. Louis Jazz Hall of Fame.  In order of presentation, they included Herb Drury (pianist), Eddie Fisher (guitarist, posthumously), Dwayne Bosman (saxopho n ist),  Dwight Bosman (saxophonist), Mae Wheeler (vocalist, posthumously),  Ptah Williams (pianist), and Donald Wolff (Jazz Advocate and Philanthropist).

"Don [Wolff] does not feel he deserves this award, since he is only doing what he enjoys.  He has been sharing his jazz collection with others over 30 years on radio, TV and through the donation of his collection [to Harris-Stowe]," Dawn DeBlaze told the audience.  Wolff asked her to accept the award in his absence.

She went on to say, "Wolff's vision for sharing the music will hopefully continue to grow so the world can view his collection 24/7 digitally through Harris-Stowe.  Otherwise the music is not available."

"His dream is to keep the music alive, make it accessible, and sha re it through radio, tv and the donation of his collection.  Again, extend and expand it to more students and the public and keep it free of charge."
