Please come to the STM Cafeteria to view class lists, stop by classrooms, pick up school supplies, shop for used uniforms, update the Parent Portal, get acquainted with the STM PTO, and visit with friends.
As families prepare for the first day of school on Monday, August 27th, please be sure to review the Dress Code located on pages 37-40 of the STM Elementary School/Parent Handbook. The Guidelines for Appearance list important standards regarding hairstyles and jewelry.
Don't forget to also check the fit and condition of your returning child's uniform. Used uniform items will be available for purchase tomorrow, so come early to check out the selection!

Transportation service arrangements are being finalized now for the 2018-19 school year. Please advise soonest if your child requires a seat on the Fort Myer van.

STM serves hot lunch four days a week from Monday through Thursday at a cost of $6.25 per meal. It is time to place your orders for September hot lunches. For September, hot lunches will begin on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, and will run through Thursday, September 27, 2018. A total of 15 lunches will be served for a cost of $93.75 per child. You can either pay using FACTS or by sending in a check to the school office using this order form. Completed
order forms must be returned to the school office no later than August 28.
Hot Lunch orders will not be accepted after August 28th. If you have any questions, please call the office at (703)-528-6781.

The Garwood Whaley Music Program works closely with the Diocese of Arlington Schools to provide instrumental programs in all of the schools. St. Thomas More Cathedral School has benefited from this partnership with over 35 years of successful concerts, festivals, and individual achievements. Please come to the STM Band Parent's night on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at 7:00pm beind held i
n the school gym/Lee Hall. I will be introducing the instruments to all students in the first weeks of school with some send along information.
