Update on Refugee Resettlement

Last year, STM parishioners mentored refugees through our partnership with Lutheran Social Services, helping families find jobs, enroll children in school, and begin building new lives. These early successes came before the recent suspension of refugee resettlement aid, which has created serious challenges for newly arrived refugees and the organizations that support them. Despite this, our Immigration Ministry has grown to nearly 100 volunteers, and our recent Volunteer Weekend was a strong reminder of the caring community we have at STM. Read the full update here.
