Fish Fry Friday


FEBRUARY 20, 5:30–7:00 PM, STM AUDITORIUM


Get ready for our first Lenten Fish Fry TOMORROW! Enjoy a delicious meal featuring fried cod, french fries, macaroni & cheese, coleslaw, dinner rolls, peach cobbler (until it's gone!), cookies, and lemonade. Tickets will be sold at the door–$17 for adults, $9 for ages 5-12, and free for ages 4 and under. Beer/wine ($5) and soda ($1) will be available for purchase at the bar. Cash and card accepted. Please enter at the Oxford door (east entrance) of the school and head upstairs. Don’t miss out on this wonderful community builder!

Youth Group - TONIGHT


FEBRUARY 19, 6:30 PM, IGNATIUS HALL

Youth in grades 5–8 are invited to our February Youth Group meeting TONIGHT! We'll be discussing Lent and four counterfeits of happiness. Please contact Will Johnson if your child has any dietary restrictions as snacks will be served. RSVP here, and we'll see you there!

Eucharistic Adoration


FRIDAYS IN LENT, 1:00–5:00 PM

Beginning tomorrow and continuing weekly, we will provide Eucharistic Adoration in the church starting at 1 PM. Anyone can come at any time during Adoration, but adorers are needed to fill all time slots so that our Lord will be accompanied throughout the adoration period. Stations of The Cross


FRIDAYS IN LENT, 5:00–5:30 PM

Join us for Stations of The Cross every Friday at 5:00 PM! Some of our ministries will lead our community each week in prayer and reflections centered around different topics like overcoming racism, caring for the environment, and more. We will also offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation beforehand from 4:30–5:00 PM.

Team Savvy Lenten Project


All are invited to pick up a bag in the Gathering Space after Mass and follow along with this Lenten project! Follow the directions on the attached calendar for daily activities that bring you closer to God and the community around you. Please return all bags and their contents to the Gathering Space when Lent ends.

Mass Livestream Volunteers


Calling all tech-savvy individuals! Last week we mentored that we are switching from live streaming our 4:30 PM Saturday Mass to our 10:30 AM Sunday Mass, and we are looking for more volunteers! If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please reach out to Kellen O'Grady. We will have an information session coming soon, we hope you'll take this opportunity to share your gifts with our community!

AMDG Recruitment


All young adults are invited to participate in the AMDG Program through the Institute for Ignatian Spirituality at Boston College. With other young adults from around the country, you will explore the teachings of St. Ignatius through prayer and service, including a pilgrimage to Spain! Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowls


CRS Rice Bowls will be available in our Gathering Space and parish office beginning this weekend. They are the perfect way for families to practice almsgiving throughout Lent. Let’s see how much money our parish can raise to help fight hunger and poverty in our world!

OCIA Rite of Sending


FEBRUARY 22, 10:30 AM MASS

The Rite of Sending is an important step in the progression of our 3 catechumens (unbaptized) and 15 candidates (already baptized who are seeking confirmation) who are seeking full Communion in the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. Please pray for our catechumens and candidates as they continue their journey to become full members of the Catholic Church!

Lent Reconciliation and Anointing Service


MARCH 3, 7:00 PM

Join us for our Lenten Reconciliation and Anointing Service. The liturgy will consist of Eucharistic Adoration, communal prayer, an opportunity for individual reconciliation. Afterward there will be an opportunity for individual anointing.

Mass & Lenten Reflection

Ecumenical Choral Vespers

Join us for Ecumenical Choral Vespers during Lent, featuring the choirs of Saint Thomas More, St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, and St. Paul-Reformation Lutheran Church. The service is modeled after the evening praise of all three liturgical traditions. We are delighted to participate in this opportunity of ecumenism!

Mozart's Solemn Vespers

Bach's Birthday Bash


MARCH 21, 1:00 PM

For nearly twenty years, the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists has sponsored a celebration of Bach’s birthday (March 21, 1685) either on his actual birth date or the Saturday before. This ‘bash’ consists of five free hour-long organ concerts at different venues around the Twin Cities, including STM! Immigrant Support Book Club


MARCH 26, 7:00 PM, IGNATIUS HALL

The Immigrant Support Ministry invites you to join their next book club, by Jose Antonio Vargas. This is his own personal story of his immigration here from the Philippines when he was 12 years old, and his life as an undocumented citizen. We will discuss the book on March 26, please RSVP here as refreshments will be served. There are a few copies in the parish library while supplies last.

ISC Silent Retreat for Women


MARCH 19–22 & APRIL 28–30, CHRIST THE KING RETREAT CENTER

Ignatian Women’s Silent Retreats are offered in the spring and fall at Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo, Minnesota. The two retreats offered this spring are:

  • Weekend retreat, March 19–22, led by Fr. Michael Graham, SJ, the former president of Xavier University. Register for the weekend retreat here.
