It's a Fish Fry Friday!


MARCH 28 & APRIL 11, 5:30-7:30 PM, SCHOOL AUDITORIUM


Get ready for our second Lenten Fish Fry TOMORROW! Enjoy a delicious meal featuring fried cod, french fries, macaroni & cheese, coleslaw, dinner rolls, peach cobbler (until it's gone!), cookies, and lemonade. Tickets will be sold at the door—$17 for adults, $9 for ages 5-12, and free for ages 4 and under. Beer/wine ($5) and soda ($1) will be available for purchase at the bar. Card, check, and cash accepted. Please enter at the Oxford door (east entrance) of the school and head upstairs. Don’t miss out—see you there!

Stations of the Cross: Overcoming Racism

Our STM Racial Equity group hosts Stations of the Cross tomorrow, March 28. We’ll be reading from the USCCB document “Stations of the Cross Overcoming Racism.” All are invited and welcome to read, reflect, and pray with us.

After months of careful restoration, our stations display once again, honoring both their historical beauty and spiritual significance in our church for over 100 years. Fish Fry Volunteers Needed!


We still need A TON OF VOLUNTEERS to make our Fish Frys a success! We especially need volunteers to help with guest hospitality and kitchen, bar, and auditorium cleanup and teardown following each fish fry. Volunteer spots are available for all ages - bring the whole family! Check out our volunteer opportunities and sign up if you're able.

Lenten Devotion Opportunities


Each Friday of Lent, we are providing Eucharistic Adoration in the church from 1-5 pm. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated from 4:30 pm until all are heard. Stations of the Cross will be prayed at 5 pm. Anyone can come at any time during Adoration, but adorers are needed to fill all the time slots so that our Lord will be accompanied throughout the Adoration period. Please sign up for an Adoration slot if you are able!

Global Solidarity Sunday


This weekend is Global Solidarity Sunday as we celebrate “We are ambassadors for Christ appealing through us” (2 Cor. 5:20). This is an invitation to share God’s love in solidarity with your brothers and sisters overseas. We are invited to offer gifts of support, an expression of Lenten almsgiving, by contributing to this collection for four global initiatives designated by the

U.S. Catholic Bishops: The Church in Africa, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, as well as humanitarian activities of Catholic Relief Services.

AMDG Program: A Journey of Faith and Service


BEGINS JULY 2025

STM, along with other Jesuit parishes and schools nationwide, has been invited to participate in the inaugural AMDG program through the Institute for Ignatian Spirituality at Boston College. This year, a cohort of 10 young adults from our parish will embark on a two-year journey exploring the teachings of St. Ignatius through prayer and service in our community. This Sunday: Parent Gatherings


MARCH 30, AFTER 8 AM & 10:30 AM MASS

Join us for a laid-back Parents Gathering where there’s no set agenda—just a chance to connect and unwind! While the parents mingle, children will have a blast running around and playing. Depending on the weather, we'll meet either in the school gym or head outside to the playground for some fun in the fresh air. It’s the perfect opportunity for parents to chat, relax, and let the little ones burn off some energy!

STM Knitters Gathering


MARCH 31, 7 PM, PARISH CENTER

Calling all knitters—experts and beginners alike! We will be hosting a knitting night to work on prayer shawls for those who are sick and baby blankets to give our newly baptized! All are welcome. Volunteer Choir Opportunities


APRIL 6 & 27, 10:30 AM, STM CHURCH

Join us for Volunteer Choir Sundays on April 6 and 27! If you love to sing but can't sing regularly in the choir, these are great 1-rehearsal, 1-Mass commitments. Rehearsal is at 9:25 am for the 10:30 am Mass. Please meet in the Choir Loft. All voices are welcome—no experience necessary!

Lent Reconciliation & Anointing Service


APRIL 8, 7 PM, STM CHURCH

Join us for our STM Lent Reconciliation and Anointing Service! Lent is a wonderful time to reflect, pray, confess, and receive the gift of reconciliation before Easter. The service will consist of Eucharistic Adoration, communal prayer, and an opportunity for individual reconciliation.


Following the Reconciliation Service, all are invited to stay for a communal celebration of the Anointing of the Sick with an opportunity to individually receive the sacrament. Come and receive!

Seniors Gatherings

Join us for Play, Laughter, and Fun – the kick-off event for our new Senior Group at St. Thomas More! Parishioner Mary Janowak will share stories about the importance of play and laughter in relationships. Stations of the Cross: Walking with Refugees


APRIL 11, 5 PM, STM CHURCH

Join us for a special Stations of the Cross service with our immigration team, where we’ll reflect on the struggles of immigrants and refugees. Through prayer and powerful stories, we will connect the journey of Christ with the challenges faced by those who are forced to flee their homes. Come walk with us in faith and solidarity, as we remember those in need and offer our support.

Holy Week at Saint Thomas More


Holy Week stands at the head of our calendar, the holiest week of the entire liturgical year. Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on April 13 and continues until Easter Sunday on April 20. Please join us for this beautiful week of liturgies and celebrations.

Ignatian Silent Retreats for Women

Ignatian Women’s Silent Retreats are offered in the spring and fall at Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo, Minnesota. The two retreats offered this spring are:

 

  • A weekend retreat, April 24 - 27, led by Fr. Paul Lickteig, SJ Pastor for the Jesuit Parish Family (St. Robert Bellarmine Chapel and St. Francis Xavier Church) in Cincinnati, OH. Register for the weekend retreat here.

Life is Wonderful 5K, 10K, Fun Run
