My Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
On Saturday, June 6, Bishop McElroy celebrated his first “in-person” Mass in three months.
He chose to celebrate this first public Mass with the Catholic African-American Community of San Diego.
The Mass was celebrated at the Immaculata on the campus of the University of San Diego.
Please take time to watch and pray the Mass.
Bishop McElroy’s homily, as always, is intellectually excellent and articulate, and extremely pastoral and personal, at the same time. What a gift!
Our Diocese is very fortunate to have his leadership!
