Happy Thursday, friends!

I hope that all is well and that you all have had a really beautiful end to your Summer and  I also hope and pray that you feel confident and relaxed, ready to start this new academic year off strong !

We had a ton of fun these last few months, but we are even more stoked for all the cool things to come with the start of the new school year. Please know how thankful I am for every single one of you and how incredibly loved you all are.

God is doing amazing things through you and with you, and it is wonderful to be able to welcome you into and back into our STOCYM family. 2019 still has some great things ahead and we cannot wait to get into them with all of y'all!

One of those great things coming up this year is your student continuing their spiritual journey with us as they continue on their Confirmation journey. We are so stoked to walk with them as they are that much closer to receiving this final Sacrament of Initiation, and welcome them fully into the Catholic Church.

We will get our classes started in the middle of September, but it is time to get your teen registered. Please see below for all the information you will need to get all signed up.
DON'T FORGET - MANDATORY PARENT MEETING THIS WEEKEND

We will talk more specifically about what the year of Confirmation ahead will look like and all the requirements of the program at our mandatory Parent Meeting this upcoming Sunday, August 25th at 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Parish Hall . 

At this meeting we will go over all the information you will need for the Confirmation year ahead - including requirements, expectations, complete schedules, and more. Your teen does not need to attend this meeting, but they are more than welcome to.

If you know any parents who have yet to register for Confirmation this year or have some questions before they officially enroll their student, please invite them to attend this session. There will still be time register for the 2019-2020 program after this meeting, but that doesn't mean you should wait for the last minute - sign up today (see the information below)!

You will NOT want to miss this! Even if you have had a teen receive the Sacrament with us in the past or you attended the meeting last year for your "Year 1" Student, you will still need to attend this year to make sure we are all on the same page for a great year ahead.
STOCYM CONFIRMATION ELIGIBILITY

Our STOCYM Confirmation program is an awesome, two year program that will walk with students as they come together in large and small group community to learn more about our Catholic faith, how the Holy Spirit is moving through them, and give them the tools they will need to continue to grow in faith for the rest of their lives.

This year will be awesome as we welcome our Catholic school friends into our Confirmation community and prepare your students to receive the Sacrament in May. I want to make sure that we are all on the same page so that your student can have the best experience possible.

For our friends that enrolled in our "Year One" program last year, this year of preparation will look a little different than last year. After taking time last year to build a solid foundation of the Catholic faith, student's will dive deeper into the the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, as well as into their own personal faith and experience in the Catholic church.

For the Catholic school parents, We are so excited for your teens to join us on their Confirmation journey. I can guarantee that your students will not only receive incredible supplemental knowledge about the faith that will help them in their school work, as well as essential catechesis not offered in those school classes, but they will also have a wonderful experience and chance to meet and grow within our larger community in an engaging and fun way.

STOCYM CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION

SIGN UPS FOR "YEAR TWO" CONFIRMATION ARE NOW OPEN. CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM!

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM EVEN IF YOU WERE ENROLLED IN "YEAR ONE" CONFIRMATION LAST YEAR.

The "Year Two" Confirmation Class will meet Sundays from 7:00 – 8:30 PM, with dinner served from 6:30 - 6:55 PM! We will meet between 20 - 23 times throughout the academic year (roughly every week). Students will receive the Sacrament at a special Mass with the Bishop sometime in May, but we will have an exact date for this special event in late November/early December. I will send out a complete schedule of the year ahead as soon as I am able!

The fee for the "Year TWO" Program is $175. 

You can pay by check or online. CHECKS can be made payable to "St. Therese of Carmel" or pay ONLINE by clicking here .

When paying online, make sure to add $175.00 to Year TWO Confirmation and include the participant(s) name in the box to the right of the amount. If you are registering more than one child, include the total amount and all of the participants names.
