As we look back over the past year and all that it has meant, we are grateful for you and all caregivers in our community that have tirelessly worked to save lives and advance science to keep patients safe.

At this point in our journey, we have abundant vaccines and they are available to anyone 16 and over that wants one. If you or anyone you know still needs one, please use MyChart or call 985-898-4001 to schedule.

STQN announces 2021 first-quarter Medical Director’s Award
St. Tammany Quality Network presented the 2021 first quarter Medical Director’s Award to Dr. Fredrick Schouest for developing and presenting a comprehensive presentation on physician wellness, entitled, “Navigating the whirlwind: a blueprint for wellness during pandemics, political crisis and personal challenges.”

COVID vaccine to be made available to everyone 16 and up
Starting Monday (March 28), everyone in Louisiana who is 16 or older will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, regardless of occupation or health status.

STHS’s COVID test collection site getting new hours
With increased vaccine distribution contributing to a marked decrease in COVID infections in our community, St. Tammany Health System is reducing the hours of its COVID-19 test collection site next to Tiffany Lanes on Highway 22 in Mandeville.

St. Tammany Health System renews breast center accreditation
The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a quality program administered by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has once again granted accredited status to St. Tammany Health System, the only Northshore facility to achieve such recognition and one of only five statewide.
