We are grateful for the local success of Operation Warp Speed, enabling Louisiana Department of Health to supply us with COVID-19 vaccines for our workforce, for you and your workforce, and at present, for patients over 70. As I’m writing this, we have already surpassed 3,000 doses. If you and your staff haven’t yet, please use MyChart or call 985-898-4001 to schedule your vaccine appointment.

Northshore hospitals urge vigilance amid COVID spike
Facing a recent, single-day record of nearly 7,000 new COVID-19 cases in Louisiana, hospital leaders across the Northshore, including at St. Tammany Health System, once again united in pleading with residents to slow the spread within the community.

Governor extends coronavirus restrictions until Feb. 10
Louisiana will remain under modified Phase 2 coronavirus restrictions until at least Feb. 10, Gov. Jon Bel Edwards announced on Tuesday (Jan. 12).


List of local pharmacies offering COVID vaccines released
The Louisiana Department of Health on Monday morning (Jan. 4, 2021) announced the list of 107 pharmacies across the state now administering the COVID-19 vaccine to members of the public who meet certain requirements.

Can I get the vaccine yet or can’t I? Here’s your answer.
