Saturday, December 21^st

Scout Project Mural will be unveiled after the 5 PM Mass, followed by snacks next to the Parish Youth Room.

December 24th - 25th The Parish Office will be closed for the Holiday.

From Father Joe - I’d like to ask you to consider the various options available for attending Mass for Christmas. In a spirit of hospitality, we want to be welcoming of everyone, but we also want everyone to be safe.

At the 4:00 PM Mass at the Villanova Church on Christmas Eve, there will be no standing allowed in the aisles or doorways – and chairs will be added in the back. Once Villanova University Public Safety determines that the Church is at capacity, people will be directed to the 4:30pm Mass (moved from 4:00pm) at the Rosemont Chapel. Harten Hall, underneath the Chapel, also will be set up for any overflow (with live-streaming available.) There will be a 5:00 PM Mass at Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish, as well. Please plan accordingly and check out the full schedule of Christmas Masses.

INFORMATION & VOLUNTEERS

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEEDS AIDES

We are looking for adult aides to assist the lead catechist in two Religious Education classes: in Kindergarten on Sunday from 10-11:30 AM. or Wednesday 6th grade class which runs from 4:45-6pm. If interested email Eilise at rel-ed@stvparish.org.

DINNERS TO DOORSTEPS

The parish ministry Dinners to the Doorstep is looking for new volunteers who may be interested in preparing and delivering home-cooked meals to those in our community who may be in need. TUTORS NEEDED WEDNESDAYS FROM 5 - 5:45 PM VIA ZOOM

Our Zoom tutoring program has a wait list of Philadelphia children who need our help! Please consider tutoring a student. For more details click here.

PARISH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED YEAR-ROUND AT ST. FRANCIS INN (Philadelphia) Volunteers are needed to serve the midday meal at St. Francis Inn in Kensington on the third Sunday of every month from 10:45 AM-1:15 PM. Volunteers are also needed for dinner service at the Inn on Mondays from 3:45-6:15 PM or to serve at Marie's Closet, a St. Francis Inn affiliate, on Monday mornings from 8:30-11 AM. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to BRING COMMUNION TO ROSEMONT CARE CENTER

Parish volunteers visit Rosemont Care Center on Mondays at 10am to bring Communion. More volunteers are needed for this life-giving ministry. Volunteers serve every 4-6 weeks, and the visit takes about 1.5 hours. If you are interested to bring Communion to Rosemont Care Center, please contact Renee Massaua at service@stvparish.org.
