Jake Wardrip is an MSBC 2014 Spalding graduate! He works as a licensed Realtor with Homepage Realty, where he is humbled and honored for the opportunity to help his clients with one of the most confusing and critical financial decisions of their life, buying or selling a home. He prides himself on being innovative and cutting-edge in his marketing techniques, including partnering with Spalding Athletes in Name, Image, and Likeness co-branding.

Congratulations to Sandra Evans Falconer '05 for her newest book of poems- The Lucky Spot Dance (Last Gypsy Press), published in June 2020. She is currently working on a new book of poems about the war in Ukraine.

Caritas Medal Nominations

Calling all Spalding Alumni! Please consider nominating a fellow Spalding graduate for the 2023 Caritas Medal by completing the Caritas Award nomination form. Award winner will be announced at the 2023 Commencement ceremony in June. The deadline for submissions is January 16, 2022.

Spalding offers a new scholarship for pell eligible students (The Pell Promise) 

The Pell Promise Scholarship is a commitment from Spalding University to cover the gap in tuition for Jefferson County students who are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant. This program is for incoming students with a zero or negative SAI (Student Aid Index) starting in 2023-2024 academic year, and it will cover the remainder of tuition and fees after federal and state grants and institutional aid. Click here to learn more about the Pell Promise. 

Spalding's Board of Trustees Welcomes Four New Members

The Spalding University Board of Trustees appointed four new members to the governing body. Brenda J. Gonzales, Sister of Charity of Nazareth; Bridget Papalia, J.D.; Marsha C. Weinstein and Thomas Williams Jr., Ph.D.

Baptist Health Partners with Spalding Athletics

Baptist Health has now become the official sports medicine provider for Spalding University. Baptist Health Sports Medicine will provide Spalding University Athletics with a dedicated team physician, athletic training, and access to comprehensive, multidisciplinary services to prevent and treat injuries. Read more about the partnership here.
